Am I qualified to manage this blog? I hope so!! I am currently a Cadette Leader Trainer, GSLE Trainer, have completed both Cadette and Senior Journeys, serve on the Older Girl Committee and as an Interviewer for the Gold Award applicants in our council. I am also a former GSOC Board Member, Nominating Committee Chair, Fund Development Committee Member, Audit Committee Member, Endowment Committee Chair and have served on numerous fund raising committees, including chairing Women of Distinction for 3 years. A lifetime GS member, I grew up in the Long Beach Girl Scout Council in California where I earned my First Class Award. I have no kids in Scouting, but I am the happy Aunt of a new Cadette Girl Scout in Tucson, AZ.
(And also a member of the Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs, South Coast Chapter. We have ribbons and medals we wear for our formal events. All we do is get together 5 times a year to eat and drink! Truly a social club, of which I am the Vice Chancelier Argentier. This photo comes from our December Gala Dinner.)
